About the Collective

ReactionTime is a multidisciplinary collective founded in 2021 by five creators working across sound, visual design, ceramics, code, and performance. The collective works through research-driven improvisation—building spatial systems that react to movement, presence, and the environment. Our installations and performances have been presented in Israel and abroad, including Dutch Design Week and Jerusalem Design Week.

My Role

Within the collective, I develop the interactive and visual systems. I work with TouchDesigner, sensors, cameras, and real-time video mapping to create environments that respond to the audience. My focus is on designing behavior: translating conceptual ideas into systems that sense, react, and unfold through participation.

This includes:

  • Real-time generative visuals
  • Sensor-based and motion-driven interaction
  • Projection mapping and spatial video design
  • Integrating physical materials with live digital systems

Impact on My Practice

ReactionTime was foundational in shaping my approach to interactive art. It is where I began building live, responsive environments and developing my language around embodied interfaces and system-based thinking—an approach that continues into works like Pulse Now, Single Body, Many, and my ongoing sensing-based installations.
